when I was first new to them i got them confused with the striped Killifish. when they are juveniles it is quite similar but when you see a striped you will def know when you have caught one.
nice to see someone near here catching marine fish!

Yeah, mummichogs even when small have a robust body and short snout. The stripeds will have a distinctly pointed snout even when small.
