Those are really great looking fish. It always amazes me that a fish can be colored like those rainbow shiners. My favorites of the bunch were the super colored up Adinia though. Very nice.

Wow, those rainbow shiners look excellent. Can we see some more pictures of those?

Also, how did you get them so colorful? Are they recently caught or did you chill them all winter? What are you feeding them?

My guess is pulvereus but I am not sure of the current taxonomic state of those two.

Those were caught about a month ago.Keeping them well areated and mid 70s or slightly cooler helps them stay colored up longer.

It's confluentus.I regard pulvereus as being a gray form of confluentus,as males of both colors are found in the same places mating with identical females.
