Hey everyone,

Been lurking on here awhlle and have to say that I have found a ton of great info so far. I was wondering though about how many Blue Finned Killi's I could/should keep in a 20 gal? It is heavily planted. Also wanted to see how many male to female. I know that the males can be territorial so I thinking about doing maybe 10 fish 2 male and 8 female. Does that sound ok or should I go with a few less on the females. I am trying to get them to breed.

Any help would be appriciated.

Thanks,

Adam

I am in Indiana, during summer time I place my bluefin killies in a kiddie pool outside. I get 10 (+/-)offspring each year. But this year I did not have any females to start the summer with, so now that I do have some I am hoping to get a few or have them all survive for next year. Do they spawn in an aquarium in the winter months?
