I recently collected two juvenile dace which I'd though were Eastern BlacknoseDace (Rhinichthys atratulus). The more I watch them now with my mature BND's, Im thinking they might be juvenile Long nosed dace (Rhinichthys cataractae). I can never catch long noses in any numbers, only the odd one ever now & again while collecting bait. Could these possible be long noses are just bnd's?

They look like small longnoses to me, but it is a bit difficult to tell in the video. I think the behavior is much more telling. Unlike the blacknoses in the background that are swimming willy-nilly around the tank, those two small ones are staying tucked against benthic structure. And they are mostly holding their fins erect, which says longnose to me.
