Hello from Germany

Hi all,
my name is David and I am a student from Germany. Since I can rember I was interested in nature, espescially in fishes and amphibians.
So one of my deepest hobby is keeping newts and fishes in aquaria.
I registered on this forum long time ago and read already a lot.
I just wanted to say thank you for collecting so much information on this forum and the nanfa-site.
It helps me a lot with my hobby, because information about keeping native fishes, wether they come from the U.S. or from Europe are very rare to find in comparision to those which are belonging the the tropic ones.

PS. enclosed is a picture of one of my tanks with Pimephales promelas, Notropis chrosomus, Cyprinella lutrensis and Etheostoma caeruleum

Welcome. It always amazes me at how many people outside of North America are interested in our fishes. Great tank!

That is a very nice photo of a very nice tank... I can see the Etheostoma and Notropis very clearly.

Come visit some time - I took Arne Nolte out collecting once when he was visiting the states. I even speak a few words in German!
