Hi guys,
I have been reading around the forum during my free time from work and school have noticed one thing about the pumpkinseed sunfish...it has a nasty temper! I have one 4" punpkinseed living in a 20 gallon long at the moment. I am not sure when I will be upgrading its tank but when I do, I really want to add in a few crappies like maybe a trio, or 1-2 rock bass. Will there be enough space in a 55 gal for them to live comfortably together? I plan on aquascaping the future 55gal tank with some big rocks, driftwood, and a good amout of hornwort. any thoughts? Thanks!

If you want that many fish, I would look at, at least, a 75gal or 125. And I'd say regardless of tank size be ready for battles....that's a lot of aggressive fish you named. Give them room and plenty of cover.
