We know who can run a net. Binkley is on my side two. Maybe we should do northerners versus southerners.

If that's the case, I'd be happy to be a "free agent signing" from the west. I definitely had a good time seining the day away with Matt and Brian

Keep this nonsense up and I'll bring a bag seine and borrow the boat shocker.

Dave, with that attitude, you're riding shotgun with Fritz, Dustin and I...And when I say shotgun, you do know how to use one right?
Zman, Matt and Binkley will be a tricky lot, keep your bead on their car.

:)

I'd just like to have video of the permit coordinator's face when they start reading through the application...

"They want to do WHAT? And WHAT? ...and WHAAAAT?!!"

Yep, throw in Josh, and we will be hard to beat. Oh, and Cali Josh, and we will be unstoppable.

If the fish are half as plentiful as the smack talk, it should be one entertaining day! The rate it's going here, we'll devolve into a reality show soon. "Darter Dynasty", anyone? :D

Matt and I are still working out the details but at this point, we have Dustin and Matt as team leaders. I will be with Dustin as taxonomic verifier and we will get someone to go with Matt. We will have a sign up either on the registration form or at the convention for those who want to participate - remember it will be $10 more. If you want something more leisurely, we will provide that. Once we have the names, Dustin and Matt will take turns choosing - just like in pick-up baseball to try and keep it fair and balanced.

Oh crap now I have to clean my keyboard, and blow my nose. Funny as it was, you better be ready for a challenge.

He, he. This is sounding fun. I will be very torn between a leisurely fish-enjoying tour and an all out I will kick your collecting hinies with one hand tied behind my back and one eye blindfolded fish hounding blowout. Must be some way I can do both!

Yes that's exactly my problem, how to do both. I'm way too competitive to not join the fray plus I can whoop a whole team catching them species with ma bare hands...Sorry Kentucky hasn't quite worn off yet, still channeling Turtle Man!

I believe the challenge will only take place on a single day, so people can probably do both.

Yes, we will do it Saturday. Friday and Sunday will be relaxed. There will no retention of fish in the competition challenge since we're visiting the same sites and need the same opportunity to catch what is there.

Hey Josh,

Just wanted to mention that we got studfish at upper fishing creek, and got a logperch at little rockcastle. You can add those to the list. Mods feel free to delete this comment after this is adjusted.

Thanks again to everyone for a wonderful convention!
