The subject basically is the question. I have been trying to find some, but as of now have been unsuccessful. Any tips on where (what river, creek, lake, etc.) and how (best method, what area of the location) to catch them?
Where to collect Central mudminnows near Green Bay, WI?

If no one has specific recommendations, then use the WDNR Fish Map. It can be zoomed in to even the smallest streams. Set the date range to the last 20 years or so.

I've found mudminnows in heavily vegetated "ditches" with clear water and muck bottom. They're often alongside brook stickleback.
