found them very passive, completely ignored me, maybe at 250 I was too small for the 8 footersl, that was in a clear fl spring run, in a dark river I would probably be very afraid

Don, in which spring did you snorkel with the huge gars? I think you told me at the convention, but I forgot (was it Ichetucknee?). That sounds like a neat experience, and I would like to put it on my list of things to try to do next time I'm in the area.
