These guys came from a spot about 20 miles north of Vidalia, GA in the Ohoopee River... so I know the neon green and the red faces come from at least that far north... Doug was there that day... and yes, the water was nice and tea colored.

I remember seeing these during that south Georgia/okeefenokee trip. Pretty cool fish.

I had a school of them live in a planted tank for two or three years.
