Pretty tough questions... it would take a good bit of research to get all the correct answers.

Really? I thought I was making it too easy. I'm disappointed in the lack of participation I've had so far.

I've extended the entry deadline to Saturday at midnight, and fixed the numbering error on the form.

Where is everyone's Christmas spirit, I've only had a handful of entries.

Sorry, I only know the answer to one of those questions (the second one :) ). But I shared the link to this with all my groups on facebook, hoping to get some people interested in native fish who'd never heard about them. It's nice that you've got some ID questions in there. A lot of people really like identifications and seeing new species they've never seen before. :D

I know the answer to at least the one photo that I took!

I am glad you extended the deadline... I will be entering on Saturday morning!

I got one of them laying around next to the computer at home... I think we should reject any answer to question two that uses the word "The"

I extended the deadline until Sunday. The top prize just got even better!

Round 2 will have to be harder, everyone is doing so well.

What, are you only asking ancient history questions this time around?

It's been 2 hours? Sure you will still be able to remember what you wrote down? I need to bite my tongue, I have just resigned myself to the fact that I need bifocals.

You are such a good sport Fritz.

Once people get to know me, they know I like the banter. Especially when my team beats Josh's

Yeah! That's what you get Mr. president for messing with my boy Josh. Now go ahead and bellyache about it, and I will just delete your posts.

Okay, officially:

In 1st Place, we have a tie: Mike Lucas and Casper Cox
In 2nd Place, Fritz Rohde
In 3rd Place, Mike Berg

So, I didn't bet on a tie, and to be fair I want both of the 1st place winners to get the same NANFA gift so I will have go order another. It may take an extra week to get the awards out to the winners.
