What are those snails in the first pic with Etheo. edwini? Are they native, or feral Melanoides?
And is the red plant in the last pic Ludwigia palustris?

That first shot is by far the best photo I have ever seen of a Brown Darter. Keep up the great work!

2 Strobes with the 7D...not too special the equipment. Today again it was very cold outside so after 2 hours in the water i gave up. Haven`t found any Blue side Darter in Citico Creek ;-/...i will go south now. Tomorrow i will check out the snorkel hole in the Conasauga River
