So I am considering putting my sunfish with my [comparatively peaceful] CA cichlids, since unlike Gymnogeophagus, for example, I don't think they actually need a cool down period, since they live all over the US, even in places that are warm all year. I would probably keep the tank in the low 70s. The sunfish in question would be a
green, bluegill, pumpkinseed, central longears, dollar, warmouth, and a rock bass. (I'll probably just have one of each species, to help cut don on conspecific aggression.) Would any of these species suffer from not having a cool down period?

The cichlids I am considering or already have are (singles of each): Firemouth, Robertsoni, Sajica, Rainbow, Flier cichlid, Nicaraguan, a female Carpintus, and female Synspilum.
