How about Macrobrachium shrimp? I've seen one there once, and caught one over at the other river whose name I forget. Any advice on catching one? It was pretty neat to have, but I didn't fully appreciate it at the time since it ate some bluefin killies I liked.

I just got back from PA so I apologize for not responding yesterday. I work a split shift tomorrow with only a 4 hour break in between so it would be impossible for me to get down to Goose Creek area. At least the temperatures should be tolerable for you.

Work and holidays really gobbled up my time. Haven't been on here for a few days now. Hope the interview and the collecting went well! Managed to sneak in a couple hours close to home, but it'd've been dark by the time I could get to the low country... So many SC NANFAns, sorry we couldn't meet up!

I'm glad too. Spent a good while turning rocks for shrimp, but no sightings. I did see one goby or sculpin I didn't recognize (couldn't catch it, so no ID for me, but I'm sure it wasn't a darter). Was fun to be back anyway. I also saw an old guy on the dock catch a big pickerel, which was fun to see.
