Sorry for giving you a hard time, but we need a little more to really help. If you don't have a picture, can you tell us where you caught it? Both the river system and microhabitat will help (main branch vs small creek, sand, rocks, gravel or mud, vegetation).

A similar post with accompanying low-quality photograph of an allegedly typical nondescript silvery minnow in a bowl, shot from above, received at least one vote for rancid hotdog.

But that would be white with a red stripe if I'm not mistaken, unless they created a new pattern, in that case I'll go buy a dozen, can never have to many daredevles to use for White Bass!

Close, Ben. "Red stripes going down the length of the body"! I think the species brannon is describing has purple lips, but is a close cousin of the Eastern Glass-Striped Fish pictured above.
