Creek chub Tank

Edit: The reason I'm setting this tank up is so the 2 creek chubs I have in my 150 have their own space

A sunfish might work too. Maybe a single redbreast.

what is the smallest size could I get for the creek chubs to school? Mine are 6-7in I think.
If you mean smallest number to form a school then I'd say 4-6 fish. Mine are doing just fine in a group of three but they don't really school tightly.

It probably would've been but sadly PA doesn't keep track of creek chub records or many other non game fish for that matter.Holy cow! I have caught some big creek chubs, but that is huge. You should have submitted it for a state record.

sorry for the confusion. I meant to say how small can each individual be? I do not want to get 4in creek chubs and have them not school with my 6-7in chubs.
I don't think that will be much of a problem as long as 4" ones done fit in the mouth of the 7" ones... cause if it fits, it ships. Otherwise they will hang out together... especially if they are the only minnow in the tank.
