It seems like many people on the forum have ponds of some size and type or another, but I rarely see people posting pictures or fish in them, just a few posts or threads here or there. So let's see some pictures and possibly specs (if you feel like sharing) of your guys' ponds whether they're a 5 gallon shoebox outside or a cement lined 10,000 gallon in your back yard.

On another note, has anyone ever kept natives and Koi together in a pond? I'm debating for my final setup before I move out after college to do a 125 with sunfish and chubs or as large of a pond as I can afford with what money left I have sitting aside for fish keeping in my back yard, so it'd probably be 1,000-4,000 gallons and filtered. I'm torn because natives are my favorite fish but carp are just such friendly animals and are easily handfed. So I thought, maybe it can keep mostly natives with just a few koi in a large enough pond. Any personal experiences with this other than obvious combos like koi and channel cats?

I don't have pics currently, but I did have a ~500g koi pond many years ago.  One summer I snagged a few adult Bluegill from a local stream and tossed them in the pond.  The only significant change I noticed once the sunfish settled was that they would fly up to the surface and eat all or most of the food before the koi would.  Even more, they would spook the koi so I would never see them come up to feed.

As mother nature would have it, when the pond froze over that winter the 'Gills didn't make it.  Otherwise the 'carp' and sunfish were fine together.

Probably not the type of pond you were referring to. 5ft in diameter, diy wet/dry (red container), uv, biopellets, etss downdraft skimmer. diy fuge, Pacific Creole fish, Mai Tai clownfish, black ice clownfish, Cortez rays, guitarfish, coral catshark, mystery eel and one eyed panther grouper. I will be taking this down in the next couple of weeks to setup an 8ft pond.
