How much clorox would it take to sterilize a 360 gal fiberglass tank? I suspect that I have hyra or some other pest that is keep my daphnia from colonizing the tank. The tank has rough walls, not smooth.

Not sure on the dose, but would it be impractical to just drain and let dry a couple days?

I thought Hydra have a resting phase to survive drying out?

My thoughts are if you're trying to kill everything (hydra) is there really such a thing as "too much" bleach? Go crazy and add a whole jug and let it run through the system for a few days. Then drain, refill, and let it run with some thio to neutralize any residual chlorine.
A thorough drying afterwards couldn't hurt either.
