tried my luck with a flyrod but no good only a 12 inch creek chub
then went to the foothills (out of trout stream waters) and tried myseine and got

warpaints
creek chubs
bluehead chubs
river chubs
juv. redhorses(not sure what species)
tessellated darter
bluegill
pseeds
redears
and I think a small tadpole madtom but I have yet to try to id it.
edit: forgot to say I got a large snaping turtle that did not like catfish hooks or my fingers very much

then yesterday tried out my new minnow trap and got a very unhappy banded water snake

real pain in the legs to wade out in deep freezeing cold water but it was worth it to see them if it was cooler that day I would have tried to keep a few of the warpaints but it was just to warm to try
