You'll be receiving the latest issue of American Currents shortly, but in the meantime here is issue #1 of what will surely be a popular publication:

Those look to be some insightful articles.  I look forward to reading them soon.

How does one get a free lifetime subscription?  I have one via Fellow with NANFA but how weird does one need to be to be nominated for Freaky Fella for NAN&FA?

BTW one of my photos is in the new Peterson's... a Conasauga Turtle Leech wound.  Actually a series of images from Day 1 to amputation.

I'm looking forward to picking up some more knowledge and how to know how with such a well rounded, eclectic selection of new data to absorb via aquatic osmosis.  Especially the peeing underwater thing as i have been called out several times of late.

Good job one eyed fish eyed Olaf.

Genius? Maybe. Psychic? Definitely. I predicted AC would be arriving soon and the mailman just dropped it off.

Conspiring with Matt Knepley? Possibly.

Matt is one of those US Postal workers we keep an extra eye on.  The other Matt is hinting that it is the other Matt's hand in placing the new AC in your mailbox at just the right time, a kind of a self fulfilling prophecy.

Use caution!

The swimming in traffic article was very useful in this situation. Thank's Casper,it's a life saver.

A few ideas for future issues

- Add some excitement to your swim with Medical Waste

- Biodiversity and how to best sacrifice it to the newly introduced apex predator.

- Farming Ich for fun and profit.

- Americas Blandest Darters

- Seining with mist nets, how to add birds to your catch total.

- Halloween decorating with Pumpkinseeds.

-  Gone belly up? Why flush that dead fish when you can use it.

- Tank set ups for beaver, muskrats, and waterfowl

- Providing habitat for Silverfish.

- Going for walks. Outdoor excercises for you and your fish.

- Snorkling the Wastewater Treatment Plant

-  Go far beyond ultralight with our article on microbe fishing

- Giving Blood: How you can develop a closer bond with your pet sea Lamprey.

Love it! The second title from the top, and the second from the bottom were especially good. Print one of those up, have Casper sign it, and auction that puppy at the next convention!

As for USPS delivery intel, I'm afraid that's classified...

NH Josh, a couple of your article titles nearly had me doing spit-takes on my 'puter screen, especially the ich farming and blandest darters cracks.

Sorry Olaf, did not mean to confuse. Casper pretty well summed up what I meant.

If it was a real suggestion, I'd be happy to print it, poster-sized and glossy, for the auction. But someone needs to remind me closer to the actual convention time.

If anyone wants one now, not signed by Casper, maybe we could arrange a price that pays for my paper and shipping costs and a donation to NANFA.
