Go back in May when the greenhead shiners and rosyside dace are concentrated on the bluehead chub nests.  You will be impressed!  Redlip shiners are not native there, but there may be some introduced ones, and they hybridize with greenheads.  Stanley Creek near Gastonia had more hybrids than pure greenheads or redlips, last time I seined there 10+ yrs ago.

Ok I will check it out back in May. Beautiful area, there were a few creeks I passed that looked nice but I didn't have the time to check them out.
