Okay thank you, I went on to Google maps and fish maps and I found a smaller, less busy road that goes over the creek and I may be able to pull over there and get to it. The road was called rock cut road there was also a road called walker road that the creek ran along side the road for a ways.

Walker road is the road we used! I just pulled up google as well. That first bend in the creek where it gets right next to the road is where we stopped, I believe. Somewhere close, we didn't go down the road much. Make sure there are no "no trespassing" signs on the side of the road you stop at. I believe we also got in under that bridge on 97 there. It's a small road as well.

If I were closer I'd join you. Maybe I can find some time soon to get out.

That would be cool, because I don't even know what to look for lol. Thanks for your help!

Sorry to be late to this party...

Can't help you much with that corner of SC, but if you ever get towards Abbeville/Greenwood/McCormick County, let me know.

There are some great SC resource folks on here, and you have heard from a few of them.
