I agree about not using the box, not because of a lack of oxygen, but I suspect probably ammonia concentrated in a small area and not allowed to pass out of the box.

Haven’t gotten a 3rd mudminnow yet. I did go to a cool “vintage” fish and bird store. I got some hornwort and rotala indica.
