Is this a rainbow? Came out of fast, cold shallow water in Irondequoit Creek, Pittsford NY. That's my best guess. This is a day after intro so his colors are faded a bit.

Yes, it is a rainbow. The two colored anal fin is helpful in differentiating them from orangethroat which typically have a solid blue anal fin.
