Once again, new to the Forum and hoping to solve an ID problem. Saw these fish in multiple locations, while snorkelling along Herring Cove Beach (yes, one eye on the camera lens and one looking for white sharks ) in Cape Cod this past September. I'm attaching multiple pics and would like to know anyone's opinion on the matter. Alosa mediocris or Brevoortia tyrannus or maybe both? Thanking you in advance, Jeff

Looks like your run of the mill Brevoortia tyrannus.
Edit* Pretty neat pictures though, I like the schooling photograph!
