I decided to make some room on my bookshelves and donate a few books to the auction. I am bringing Fishes of PA by Cooper, Freshwater Fishes of Alabama by Smith-Vaniz, Handbook of Darters by Page, and some assorted pamphlets.

OK I just did a Google search and the lowest price for the Handbook of Darters that I saw was $180.00. I want to put a minimum on this book. I'm happy to donate this to NANFA but I want to be certain that NANFA gets good value for this. Spread the word that this book is coming to the auction. It must be a rare item.

Harry, that darter book is one of the most sought after books in all fishdom.  I suspect it will get $100 with no problem.  I think much more than that is pie in the sky, but we'll see,

If it gets $100 dollars for NANFA, I'll be happy.

Want me to bring you some Martin?

Does it taste anything like Mayhaw jelly?
