A curious question crossed my mind. Other than the fact that some of our fish have been around for a while and it was warmer can we learn anything about our modern fish from the Green River Formation and Florissant Fossil Beds?
Can they reveal clues on the distribution and/or evolution of modern species?
learning about our fish from fossils?
