Random algae....

I never thought random algae growth would be so desirable. Specific gravity 1.013. This is in my thin stripe hermit crab Clibanarius vittatus 40 gallon. There is another macro algae species that started growing on the rim directly under the light in The salt creep from the air stone. I accidentally pulled it off thinking it was just normal algae. It was stringy but the threads were the size of fishing line

Sea lettuce? Ulva lactuca

The piece in the middle could be Ulva, but Ulva is sheet-like and it isn't long and wiry so you could have more than one type of algae.  There are several wiry green algae, but hard to tell based on this image.
