I am going to be in the Asheville area this weekend with some friends and want to spend some time sampling the local waters. I’ve had success in the past here finding different types of darters but never purposely looked for shiners. I’m hoping to see some saffron shiners while I’m there and was wondering if anyone could share a reliable location to find them. I would also be interested in seeing some warpaints or Tennessee shiners if anyone has good locations to look for those as well. Thank you!

Anywhere that has saffrons will probably have warpaints. As far as particular locations I have nothing sadly
