I was wondering if anyone had tips or experience keeping Goldeye. I want to start a 625 gallon community pond in my backyard. I've heard that they might be hard to transport and acclimate to a new habitat. Thanks for your help.

Goldeneye prefers the calm, slow-flowing waters of large rivers and the muddy waters of large lakes. Besides, they often breed in the bottom of rivers and lakes full of gravel or rocks. So with such ponds, I think it is not suitable to raise them.
