There has been a lot of hobbyists in southern wi doing summer tubbing with rainbow fishes and other types. What is everyones thoughts about winter tubbing with something like mudminnows. I have 13 of them and was thinking about putting six outside. I don't know if I should wait til closer to spring. I've been told I should use a stock tank heater. Has anyone done this or has there been any discussion of this?

Mudminnows are pretty hardy. If your tank will not freeze solid you should be fine. If you’re going to run a heater I recommend a lid of some sort. Helps prevent a lot of energy loss.
