As I speak there is a radio story on viral hemorrhagic septicemia on Public Radio (NPR):

Also a story on a shark that reproduced without aid of a male.

i recently did some research on VHS and found out that it does not need a fish host to spread. it can be found as a free floating virus in the water not doing much until it comes in contact with a fish that becomes its new host. once in a while you net up fish that occasionaly have signs of vhs. so besides giving them the boot stomp any ideas what else should be done to get rid of them and help stop the spread of this disease?
