Ive been completing my Ohio Lifelist and only have a few species left. A few of these species are shiners that live pretty much only in the Ohio River near me. This makes fishing/seining/cast netting them very difficult because they are in deeper more turbid water. Does anyone have experience with this type of sampling. I am looking specifically for channel, river, and spottail shiners around the Portsmouth Ohio area, but wouldnt mind going after silver chub either.
