Im going on a family trip to Hawaii in about a week here, and I was curious about dipnetting there. However, there are little resources I could find online on this subject. I was just curious if anyone here has any experience dipnetting or otherwise collecting in Hawaii, or knowledge on regulations/collection locations/etc.

All persons may use hand nets or scoop nets of smaller mesh to take fish and other marine life for noncommercial purposes only, provided the net, including handle and other attachments, does not exceed three feet in any dimension.
