Just ordered my first Dip Net

I ordered the Ed Cummings 270-12-SG available here.
The website said 23.00 but it is now 29.00 and shipping is 7.00. How many of you use this net?
Pros/Cons? Any tips?

Did you order it straight from them? The pricing may have changed a bit. Last year I got 2 for $25/ea (if I remember correctly), and $16 shipping.

It is a nice sturdy net. The bad isn't too deep but deep enough.

It is nice when going through leaf litter.

I ordered it from the link. I think the website is cumingsnets.com. The lady I spoke with said that the 23.00 is 1999 pricing.

I have that net. It is a nice net. The mesh is somewhat coarser than the Jonah's Perfect Dipnet, though. It will let some small specimens pass through. Not a major problem, unless you're looking to collect a lot of small feeder fish. But you will see some small fish pass through this net.

I think I will really enjoy this net. It's strong, and well built, after I use it, I will know how well I like it. Great quality for the price IMO.
