Has anyone ever seen a brown bullhead with black spots on the top 1/2 of the body? I caught one yesterday with black spots on its back and side.

I have seen browns kind of mottled on top, but not truly spotted. In Georgia, maybe a snail bullhead or a spotted bullhead? There are pictures here: http://www.planetcat...php?family_id=5

Do you mean black blotches, if so then yes. Brown bullhead typically have a mottled apperance with different shades of brown, some very dark. Perhaps you mean black spot disease though, in that case...also yes, I have seen brown bullhead with that as well. Black spot disease looks like ich except with black spots rather then white.
