Next, I drove to our campsite, and spent last night there. Very nice! Woke up this morning and scouted out sampling locations. This was somewhat abbreviated as I needed to get home to work on these permits.
Attached are a couple of photos, one of my campsite, the second is the middle fork. This is the same location where 10 species of darters were found in the sampling data I sent out. Last photo is War fork, the stream in the campground.

Wish I could go!
Me too, especially since I'm like 2 hours away... but I'm going to be in Chicago those days

Yeah, that looks like a ten darter species creek.
I had not thought of that, but you are right it really does.

Are you going to bring waders at all? I was hoping to pass on them, but if we're going to any spots that have a very soft (muck) bottom, my water shoes get stuck.
No, we really won't be in any muck, unless we find some that is tempting. I am bringing snorkel gear.

I'll be bringing them. I may not use them, probably not. It's supposed to be in the low- to mid-90's all weekend. I'll sweat my keyster off in the waders, and get just as wet as if I had gone in without them. But better to have them and not need them, than to need them and not have them. Are you going to bring waders at all?
