Title kind of says it all. I caught x5 of these lil guys and have them in a 75 gallon community tank with a few blunt nose minnows, and a couple spottail shiners.

Its a pain to feed them without the greedy minnows and shiners eating everything first so I might remove them, but so far all Ive gotten them to bite on are jumbo frozen blood worms. I tried frozen krill and they would spit it out immediately. Tubifex worms were way too small so they didnt even bother.

Any food tips? I want to make sure these guys are gettin all their vitamins. I know vitamin supplement water exists, the one Im lookin at is called VitaChem but its going to be tough to get that to penetrate frozen wet bloodworms. I had also thought of adding the frozen bloodworms to a salt water brine with the adding liquid nutrients and let osmosis do its thing to get the nutrients in the bloodworms, but Id rather just give them a varied diet.
Any good tips?

This is like saying you have a 4 year old that will only eat donuts.  It seems true for a while, but probably isn't really.  Almost everything will eat frozen mysis thawed in water and put in the filter outflow so it dances around (or mosquito larva if you can get them).  But you will def have to get rid of all the 15 year old boys (minnows) before you will get them to eat well.

Almost all sunfish will convert.  I had a war mouth that converted several times, ultimately to large massivore pellets and grew to full adult size.

Thanks Michael!

I will remove the greedy goblins and stop stressing, because you are right. If I feed them a varied diet, they may snub their nose at it for a day or two but eventually theyll eat what I give them.
