I might be emptying a 50 gallon aquarium from its previous inhabitants and with my current fascination with native fish I am interested in setting up this tank with smaller native fish like pygmy sunfishes, shiners, darters, minows, top minows and other such smallfish. I live in ontario but I visit Michigan regulary but i would prefer local collection to a trip to michigan. I don't know to much about the litttle fish, I mean befor becoming interested in native species a little fish was classified as bait or minow and yes I am aware how generalyzing that is. If you could give me some ideas of what I might be able to stock this tank with that would be great and pictures, descriptions and collection areas would be also appreciated.
