I was looking arround on the web and found Usamacinta Buffalo (Ictiobus meridionalis)
So I came back to the NANFA sight and looked it up on the fish list.
Its listed as Southern Buffalo, & the list also has Fleshylip Buffalo.
I never knew there were others besides Bigmouth, Smallmouth,& Black.
Does the book Freshwater Fishes of Mexico have these fish in them, with photos or drawings?
I saw the book was recomended, but was lacking in pictures. Is this true does it at least have pictures of the major species?
The only information on the Usamacinta Buffalo I could find on the web was they live in Southern Mexico & Guatemala, and get 30" long.
Thanks
Mike

I found Usamacinta Buffalo & Fleshylip Buffalo on fishbase.
But not much information other then they are both from Mexico.
There is a photo of the Usamacinta Buffalo, but not the Fleshylip Buffalo.

There is also the "smallest mouth buffalo", as described by Jan Hoover.
