I have a 10 gallon Walstad planted tank with the following in it:
2 x blackstripe topminnow
2 x fantail darter
1 x johnny darter

Should I keep the tank the way it is or add a few more fish? I have access to fish in Oldham County KY and Boyle County KY (Boyle would be easier) and I was thinking about adding something small that schools for interest, but anything you guys suggest will be considered. Thanks.

You need some midwater fish in there! A few more won't hurt anything. Minners would be good.

Not sure if you have them there or not.....you should....I would go with a nice school of Notropis species.

What are your water parameters currently? If you are reading 0 nitrates constantly, add more fish a couple at a time. This will assist in providing nutrients for the plants. You will just have to experiment. Just make sure you have enough DO for the fish though.
