Hi all! I've lived in the midwest my entire life and had no idea we have darters here. I came upon them accidently while searching the web for "Peru Darter" tetra's. Which lead me to info regarding native darters, which led me to this website. I've not had a lot of time to navigate the entire site yet, but it looks like loads o' good information here.

We have all kinds of darters in Indiana. According to the list I have from DNR there is 27 different species of darters in Indiana. There is over 200 different species of fish in Indiana.
