The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks is currently working on a series of posters about stream life for educational purposes.

I have been informed that the Darters of Kansas poster is being held up because they do not have good quality high res images of the following darters:
Least Darter, Bluntnose Darter, Channel Darter, Slenderhead Darter.

I told them I would ask around my network to see if anyone had any photos.
If you or someone you know has good quality images of these fish and would like to offer them for use in these educational posters, let me know, and I will forward your information to the interested parties.

Thank you

Here is the latest update from my contact at KDWP.

They still need photos for these darters. They want photos with a 'natural' background.

bluntnose
channel
johnny
least
slenderhead

If you or any of your network may have good resolution (like 300 or better) shots of these let me know. I'd sure look em over.

I know I dont have any photos of these.

iturnrocks,

I have a high-resolution copy of the following image I took of a female Least Darter. I realize the photo's not 100% "natural" but maybe someone with Photoshop could do something about that.
