I measured TDS at the surface at 17 ppm. I didn't take a measurement at the sleeper site, but they were collected in about 1" of water, so I don't think a salt wedge was in play.

Harry, I was thinking about your definition of the Escatawba. It seems the Cherokee had a very compact language!
