I don't see a problem with the inside corner. I've built plenty of tanks, just not with acrylic.

Just build it. If it busts, then you can tell the rest of us what NOT to do!

There was a book I reviewed several years ago - I think the review was in A/C. I'll dig it up for you and mail it to you if you want. It gives precise instructions on how to build a quality acrylic tank. Following the author's method you will need a router.

Pmail me if you want it. And if I can find it!

Here's an idea,...
...and the fish could go underneath?

A section of cave habitat would be pretty cool. Minimize the opening under the shelp and put a blacklight or red light on the side or back of the tank to illuminate the fish in the cave.

I am not sure if you checked these guys out yet, but they work with glass or acrylic.

It was that last 46 cents that killed the deal for me.

I'd jump right on that...

It might be better on a smaller scale to try first.

I bet a small tank of the shape you want could be done.

Cool idea

man, that looks like a big, ambitious project.

have you considered getting a quote from any builders, such as Aquariums for You.

I went with them for my 300 gallon tank. They do a great job but a tank like that from them would be about $3,000. Mine was 2700 for just the tank and it was stock tank. Yours isn't stock, but very neat looking.
