Thanks and welcome to all who have recently become paying NANFA members!
We do not want to announce you ourselves, we don't want to blow your cover. But if you are a new member, and want to say so, post it here. We are getting alot of new members, and it would be nice to know how many of you have found us from the forum. We want to know how effective this venue is. Thanks again.
Matt

I'm one of the new ones that found you via the forum and became a NANFA member. I joined the mailing list too but I prefer a forum as past content is easier to access. Too bad mailing list archive software hasn't caught up to Gmail in terms of thread display!

I am a pretty new member. I definitely discovered the organization via the Forum. The knowledge level here is unbelievable. I intend to lurk and learn for a while and contribute what little I can. I guess I wasn't the only kid who couldn't walk past a pond or "crick" without getting wet and muddy...

Did you get my membership in the mail? I didn't discover NANFA through the website but I rejoined the club because of which.

Well it took longer than I thought it would but I'm finally a member.
Money well spent. Can't wait for my AC to come.
Found NANFA a long time ago doing net search on native fish. Didn't join until I discovered the forum this past fall.

Edit: Where are my manners?? Thanks for joining Mike! You'll be rewarded with American Currents and a warm feeling in that fishy part of your insides.

Can you toggle me too :) . I signed up a couple weeks ago via PayPal so my apologies if it takes a while for the process.

I'm not exactly new(I joined in August, thanks to a couple members here ;-) ), but this forum is how I was introduced to the organization. AC alone is well worth the money(actually worth more, IMO)

I also found NANFA via the forum. I suppose I should have formally introduced myself long ago, but I have few social skills. I became a member a few days ago when I realized that it was an option. I always support forums that I learn from and this one has already been very valuable.

I've always had an interest in fish and my first job at 12 years old was in the local pet store. The owner was a kooky ichthyologist and made a big impression on me. I've had dozens of aquariums in the past and now I have a brand new pond. I'm looking forward to stocking as many indigenous fish as I can and I will also get back into aquariums so that I can enjoy these native fish more directly.

Thanks for all the help so far, and that to come.
