Uland might be upset me for doing this but here is an older version of how he does it.This is probably really stupid but... can you show a picture of the finished product and tell me how you use it? I've never heard of this before.

Ohhh. Lol. How simple. The paddle goes inside! Der! Thanks for the picture. I'm really excited about trying this. But why do the sides have to be a certain thickness? Durability?

Durability- yes
I've tried using 1/8" thick acrylic but my weld have always failed. Perhaps with a more precise fit, 1/8" could work.
