Is the salamander IN your tank..and does it normally reside there?
Yes, she was in there. I had a water hyacinth in there that she sometimes would climb on and a mat of elodea that floated. She stayed underwater most of the time though. Two-lined sallies are lungless, and breath through their skin. If the water is well aerated, they don't come out of it much.

Very Nice Fish Steve!
Is that a Zimmerman Bantam?
Thanks. Yes, that's a Zimmerman bantam. He's starting to get some really nice breeding colors. I got another picture of him yawning that's a good bit better than that one. I'll try to get it up here Saturday.

Nice collection. I find tons of those two-lines in the creeks around here. I sometimes get more of them then I do fish.
Thanks. They're really common around here too. I found her and another female the same day, and tons of larvae. Both females I found were gravid. She laid eggs, but they got eaten by the bluespotteds. I moved her with a male I caught and she's carrying eggs again, so I'm going to try my best to get these to hatch.

Good luck with that. Keep us updated, I'm interested to know how that works out.
