Oh my, I need to find another source for my F. diaphanus. Mine are really plain. But so are most fish in that tank.

These guys are really quite attractive when in breeding color. Silvery white and yellow.

True! Especially the males. They really make a great aquarium fish IMO.

During breeding, the males get green on their heads, then it fades to yellow around their center, then to a blue tail with white fins.
If you put them over tan sand with some plants, the females will turn a gold color.
