I have a pair of yellowfins I'm planning to send someone as soon as I can get some more, and I think I have a male and female. The female is pretty fat, and the male is getting aggressive. I'm really kinda shocked, since I've only had them for a few weeks and only been feeding them flake food. They're kept with some fathead minnows in a ten gallon with some large gravel. If they do spawn, how long will it take the eggs to hatch at 50F, and how long will it take for the hatchlings to become freeswimming? What is the best first food for them?
